Previously, Mike was the CEO of Bakken Energy, where he transformed the company from a midstream natural gas player to an innovator in large scale affordable clean hydrogen and creator of the Heartland Hydrogen Hub. He also served as the CEO and co-founder of Ice Energy, the leading thermal energy storage company in the world, where he pioneered the market for energy storage and achieved the highest revenues in its history. Additionally, Mike has been an active board member of several startups in the clean energy space, such as Nelumbo, a nanotechnology and advanced materials venture, and OGL Engineering, a renewable energy engineering firm. He is passionate about commercializing the technologies and developing the projects that will change the world for the better.
